DISCLAIMER: It won't all be like this. It really won't. 2020. For many, a year to forget. Which is really convenient as for every day of it, i felt like i forgot everything! Each morning, i would drag myself out of bed and wonder how i was going to face this day. The same as yesterday. Millions of us did. I'll be honest, having an overexcited puppy to entertain and keep alive each day was a real highlight. I'd definitely recommend it. Thankfully, i didn't have to do all that on my own though. If so, i'm not sure i could guarantee that that puppy would still be with us. So we're all clear though, she very much is still with us and is currently sitting on this very keyboard, being a lovable pain in the arse. We all found that our life had been put on pause (sorry) in one way or another. For me, it felt like i was actually able to stop for the first time in years. I kind of welcomed it at first. All of us with busy lives (that's all of us then!) probably did! But now, nearly a year later, things are still on pause. I'm still sitting on the sofa. I'm still wondering what i'm going to do with the vast expanse of time i've been "gifted". So, no surprises, i've watched A LOT of TV! And, of course, i still am. So, i thought i should probably try and do something with it. Something that isn't just glibly saying "Well, that was alright" before Netflix can immediately start the next episode of whatever it is we've chosen to watch.
And that is exactly why i'm here today. I'm sorry, i can't tell you why you're here. That's something that only you can answer. Although, if this is a failed google search for self help therapy or a day spa, you are very definitely not in the right place. Search engine optimisation has failed you. I don't really know what this will become or even what i'm going to be doing on here. However, after lots of continued soul searching on what the future might hold for me and what skills i might be able to use in the future, 2020 taught me that after 35 years, i still bloody love TV!
